Jenn Murray, born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is an actress best known for her role as Dorothy in the 2008 film Dorothy Mills. Jenn loved acting and doing impressions as a child, but she didn’t know she really wanted to become an actress until she was a teenager. Jenn credits Jim Sheridan’s In the Name of the Father for awaking something in her, and inspiring her to want to become a part of something that might give the same feeling to another young girl. Jenn had a place at Glasgow University, studying general humanities, but decided to defer and started at community theaters, traveled to New York to take an acting for camera course, and auditioned for drama schools. Eventually, Jenn received offers from a few of those drama schools. After graduating, Jenn landed the lead role in Dorothy Mills. Besides acting, Jenn is also passionate about photography.
